David Mays (born December 3, 1910 – died June 23, 1993) was an American baseball player. He was an outfielder in the Negro leagues during the 1930s.

David Mays was born in a town called Leggett, Texas. He grew up to become a baseball player. He played during a time when African American players were not allowed to play in the major baseball leagues. Because of this, they played in their own special leagues, known as the Negro leagues.
