David Cañada Gracia (born March 11, 1975 – died May 28, 2016) was a Spanish professional road racing cyclist. He was known for his strong performances in stage races. David competed in many important cycling events during his career.

Early Life and Career

David Cañada was born in Zaragoza, Spain. He started his professional cycling career in 1996. He quickly became known as a talented rider. He raced for several teams throughout his career. These included ONCE, Mapei, Quick Step, and Saunier Duval-Prodir.

Major Achievements

David Cañada had some great wins during his time as a cyclist. His biggest achievement was winning the Volta a Catalunya in 2006. This is a very important cycling race in Spain.
