A Look Back: Church History
The church building started with a special ceremony in 1861. A person named Ebenezer Pardon placed the first stone. This was the very beginning of the church.
The Schoolroom Addition
Later, in 1883, a schoolroom was built behind the church. This room is still used today. It has been updated many times to keep it modern.
A Small Fire Incident
On November 22, 2015, something unexpected happened. The church's organ caught fire. People saw smoke coming from the organ pump. Firefighters quickly arrived to help. They put out the fire. Luckily, there was no big damage to the church.
