Daytona North is a small community in Flagler County, Florida, in the United States. It's a place where people live, but it's not officially a city or town. This means it's an "unincorporated community."

Daytona North is found south of State Road 100 and west of County Road 305. It is also west of a town called Bunnell. This community is part of a larger area known as the Deltona–Daytona Beach–Ormond Beach metropolitan area. In 2010, about 2,800 people lived in Daytona North.

What is Daytona North Like?

The homes in Daytona North are built on different sized lots. These lots can be from half an acre to one and a half acres. Many different kinds of families live here, from those with lower incomes to those with medium incomes.

You can see many types of homes in Daytona North. Some are manufactured homes, like single-wide or double-wide trailers. Others are built with concrete-stucco or wood frames with vinyl siding. Most of the roads where people live are dirt roads. Only about five streets are paved.

In the past, Daytona North had a special advisory board. This board helped connect the people living in the community with the county government. It was a way for residents to share their ideas and concerns.

However, this advisory board no longer exists. Now, the county commissioner holds "Town Hall" meetings. This means the commissioner meets directly with the people of Daytona North. It's a way for residents to talk about what's important to them and get their voices heard by the county leaders.
