Denmoza rhodacantha is a special type of cactus. It belongs to the genus Denmoza. Two scientists, Nathaniel Lord Britton and Joseph Nelson Rose, first described this plant in 1922.
What Does It Look Like?
When a Denmoza rhodacantha cactus is young, it looks like a round ball. It stays this round shape for a long time. As it gets older, it starts to grow taller. It can become a tall, column-shaped cactus. These columns can reach a height of about 0.5 to 1.5 meters. That's like half the height of an adult to a bit taller than an adult!
