Diana Amft is a German actress and a writer of children's books. She was born on November 7, 1975. You might know her best from her role as Gretchen Haase in the TV show Doctor's Diary.

About Diana Amft
Diana Amft grew up in a town called Herzebrock-Clarholz in Germany. When she was younger, she even worked at a video store! She always loved acting.
When she was 20, Diana was accepted into an acting school in Munich. After performing in plays, she got her first roles on TV in 1999.
Her Acting Career
Diana became well-known after starring as Inken in the movie Mädchen, Mädchen. This film was a big hit! She also appeared in its sequel, Mädchen, Mädchen 2 – Loft oder Liebe.
In 2002, another movie she starred in, More Ants in the Pants
, won an award called the Deutscher Comedypreis for best cinema film.A very important part of her career was playing the main character in the TV series Doctor’s Diary. This role made her even more famous.
In 2017, Diana also helped promote the Yogurette candy bar.

Besides acting, Diana Amft is also a children's book author! Between 2010 and 2018, she wrote eight books. Her book series is called Die kleine Spinne Widerlich, which means "The Little Nasty Spider".
