Diana Morgan's News Career
Diana Morgan started her journey in television news in different cities like Evansville, Nashville, and Champaign. In January 1981, she joined WAVY-TV in Portsmouth, Virginia. There, she became a co-anchor for the evening news during the week.
She first worked alongside Bob Grip until 1984. Then, Terry Zahn became her new co-anchor. For five and a half years, Diana and Terry anchored the main evening newscasts on Channel 10. Their 11 p.m. news team was very popular and watched by many people.
In December 1989, Diana left WAVY-TV. She moved to Miami to work at WCIX. She started as a weekend news anchor and later became the weekday evening anchor. She continued in this role until 1994.
