  • Later, in 1775, he became a prebendary of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, another important church in Dublin.

His final major role was becoming the Dean of Kildare in 1782. A Dean is the head of a cathedral or a group of churches in a specific area. He served as Dean until he passed away.

His Later Life and Death

Dr. Blundell lived a long life dedicated to the church. He died on November 2, 1808, at his home in Granby Row, Dublin. He was buried in St. Michan's Church, a historic church in Dublin.
