Creighton memorized a whole deck of 52 playing cards. He did it in less than three minutes. This amazing feat inspired Dominic to develop his own memory skills.

Dominic created his own special way to remember numbers. He calls it the Dominic system. It helps him turn numbers into people and actions. This makes long numbers easier to remember. It is similar to another method called the Major System.

His Amazing World Record
Dominic O'Brien holds an incredible Guinness Book of Records entry. On May 1, 2002, he memorized a huge number of playing cards. He looked at 2808 cards, which is 54 decks, only once. Then, he was able to say them all in the correct order. He made only eight mistakes. What's even more amazing is that he fixed four of those mistakes right away when told he was wrong. This shows his incredible memory power.
