Dominique Gallego's TV Career
Early TV Appearances
Dominique became famous when she was seventeen years old. She joined a reality TV show called Pelotón on Televisión Nacional de Chile. During the show, some images were broadcast that led to the TV channel receiving a fine. After leaving the show, Dominique became more involved in Chilean entertainment. She appeared in magazines and newspapers. She also modeled for magazines and was invited to many TV shows. These included SQP, Intrusos en la Televisión, and Primer Plano.
Reality Show Success
In June 2011, Dominique joined another reality dating show called 40 o 20 on Canal 13. In this show, different men tried to win her over. Dominique became the main star of the show after a vote by the other contestants. The final episode aired in November 2011. Dominique chose Argentine model José Luis Bibbo, known as "Joche," as the winner. Even though their relationship ended shortly after, both Dominique and Joche joined another reality show, Mundos Opuestos, in January 2012.
TV Host and Actress
Dominique has been a regular guest on entertainment shows. She was a panelist on Alfombra Roja on Canal 13. She also worked as a model for the special program Sábado Gigante 50 años La Gala in August 2012.
In February 2013, journalists voted Dominique Gallego as the Queen of the Viña del Mar Festival. This is a very important music festival in Chile.
In March 2014, Dominique also started acting. She appeared in the telenovela (a type of TV soap opera) Mamá mechona on Canal 13.
On August 22, 2016, Dominique returned to Televisión Nacional de Chile. She became a panelist on the morning show Muy buenos días.
Personal Life
Dominique is in a relationship with lawyer Rodrigo Wainraihgt. They have a child together. They have also talked about getting married.
