The name "Don Álvaro" might sound familiar if you know about classic Spanish literature. A character named Don Álvaro (also known as Tarfe) appears in a different version of the famous book Don Quixote. This other version was written by Alonso Fernández de Avellaneda and published in 1614. In 2012, an English translation of this story was created by Paul Pinto and Judith Pinto.
