Don Miguel Ruiz grew up in a small town in Mexico. He was the youngest of 13 children. He studied medicine and became a surgeon.
However, a serious car accident changed his life. After this, he decided to focus on sharing ancient spiritual teachings. He learned a lot from his mother and grandfather, who were healers.
His Most Famous Book
His most famous book is The Four Agreements. It was published in 1997 and became a huge success. The book stayed on New York Times bestseller list for over ten years!
The Four Agreements teaches four simple ideas for a happier life:
