Professor Monekosso started her career in space! She worked at Surrey Satellite Technology. There, she helped build computers for small satellites and spacecraft. While studying for her PhD at the Surrey Space Centre, she became very interested in machine learning. This is where computers learn from data. She then started creating smart systems and robots.
