Duach Jock was born in Gambela, Ethiopia. His parents were refugees from South Sudan. They moved to the United States when Duach was young. The family became American citizens. This happened before South Sudan became an independent country.
Playing for His Country
Duach Jock has also played for his home country. He was chosen to join the South Sudan national football team. In 2013, he played for them in the 2013 CECAFA Cup. This was a big football tournament held in Kenya.
