The Eagle Newspaper Office is a special old building in Delano, Minnesota, USA. It's actually three buildings connected together, built between 1883 and 1885. This place was once the main office for the Delano Eagle newspaper.

It was also a busy print shop. They printed things for railroads and other businesses. They even did bookbinding, which means putting books together. In 1979, this building was added to the National Register of Historic Places. This means it's an important part of local history, especially for how people communicated back then. It was chosen because it was home to Delano's oldest business. The Delano Eagle newspaper had been serving the community non-stop since it started in 1872.

What Does the Eagle Newspaper Office Look Like?

The Eagle Newspaper Office is made of three parts. All three parts are built with red bricks. They are designed in a simpler version of the Italianate style. This style was popular a long time ago.

How the Buildings Were Built

The first part of the building, on the western side, was built in 1883. It's the oldest section. The building on the eastern side was added next, in 1884. Finally, the middle section was built in 1885. So, the whole complex came together over three years.
