Eagleport, Ohio facts for kids
Eagleport is a small place in Morgan County, Ohio, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated community," which means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. Instead, it's part of the larger county.
A Look Back at Eagleport's History
Eagleport was first planned out in 1837. This means people decided where roads and buildings would go, like drawing a map for a new neighborhood.
Later, in 1873, a post office was opened in Eagleport. A post office is where people send and receive mail. This post office helped the community for many years. It stayed open until 1955, when it finally closed down.
