Ed, Edd n Eddy is a popular animated TV show. It was made for kids and created by Danny Antonucci. The show was produced by a.k.a. Cartoon and Cartoon Network Studios. It first aired on January 1, 1999.

The story is about three friends, all named Ed. They are called "the Eds." They live in a neighborhood called a cul-de-sac. The Eds often try to make money by creating "scams." These are clever plans or tricks to get other kids to buy things. They want the money to buy their favorite candy, jawbreakers. But most of the time, their plans don't work out well.

About the Show's Creation

Before Ed, Edd n Eddy came to Cartoon Network, its creator, Danny Antonucci, had another idea. He tried to sell the show to Nickelodeon. However, Nickelodeon wanted to have a lot of control over the show's ideas. Antonucci did not agree with this. So, he decided to work with Cartoon Network instead. This allowed him to have more creative freedom.

Show's Success and End

Ed, Edd n Eddy became a very successful show. It received many good reviews and won several awards. Millions of households watched the show. It was popular in 30 different countries. The series became the longest-running original show on Cartoon Network.

The show ended with a special TV movie. This movie was called Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show. It aired on November 8, 2009.
