Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show is an animated adventure comedy movie from 2009. It is based on the popular cartoon series Ed, Edd n Eddy. This film also serves as the final episode of the series.
The movie was made by a.k.a. Cartoon and first aired on Cartoon Network on November 8, 2009. Danny Antonucci, who created the series, directed the film. He also helped write the story with Jono Howard, Mike Kubat, Rachel Connor, and Stacy Warnick. The story is about Ed, Edd, and Eddy trying to find Eddy's older brother. They need his help after their latest plan goes wrong and causes a lot of trouble in their neighborhood.
Danny Antonucci first talked about a "90 minute special" in 2006. The movie's title was announced in 2007. It was supposed to air in 2007, then 2008, and finally came out in 2009. Because of the movie, the sixth season of the TV show was made shorter. This allowed the team to focus on making the film. Patric Caird, who wrote music for the series, also composed the music for the movie. All the original voice actors from the show returned for the film. Terry Klassen, the voice director for the series, voiced Eddy's brother. The movie was very popular on Cartoon Network and received good reviews. It was also available on the US iTunes Store.

Plot Summary
The movie starts with the Eds' newest scam failing badly. It leaves their neighborhood, called the Cul-de-Sac, in a mess. The other kids are hurt and very angry. They decide to get revenge on the Eds. Ed, Edd, and Eddy barely escape. They decide to find Eddy's older brother, hoping he will protect them. But Eddy doesn't actually know where his brother lives.
The other kids split up to find the Eds. Jonny and Plank become their superhero characters, "Captain Melonhead" and "Splinter the Wonderwood." They travel on a city bus. Rolf leaves with lots of luggage, riding on his pig, Wilfred. Kevin and Nazz ride Kevin's special bicycle. Jimmy and Sarah were not involved in the scam. They just want to have a picnic and watch the Eds get beaten up. They accidentally find the Kanker sisters: Lee, Marie, and May. The Kankers learn about the other kids' plan. They decide to protect their "boyfriends" (the Eds) and make Jimmy and Sarah help them.
Meanwhile, the Eds wander around, following Eddy's guesses. In a cow field, Edd thinks about Eddy's brother. He figures that since Eddy's brother is good at scams, he might be found at a place with pranks. Ed uses an old comic book to suggest they go to the Lemon Brook Gag Factory. They travel through a sunflower field to get there. When they arrive, the factory is empty. Ed and Eddy play with old prank items. Edd looks for clues in the office.
After leaving the factory, Eddy says his brother used to be a "whaler." So, Edd guesses he must live by the sea. Edd then builds a boat. The Eds ride it down a river to find Eddy's brother. The river ends in a swamp, and their boat is destroyed. Ed and Eddy play a trick on Edd. They make him think they sank in quicksand. They laugh at him for falling for it. Edd gets very angry and decides to go home to face the other kids. Ed cries about their friendship being broken. Eddy is mad at first, but then he cries too and says sorry for the prank. Edd forgives him, and the Eds continue their journey.
Meanwhile, Jimmy and Sarah escape from the Kankers. They hide in the sunflower field. They continue their trip with Wilfred, who got separated from Rolf. Later that evening, the Kankers find and capture Nazz, Kevin, and Rolf. The next morning, the Eds find a theme park by the coast called "Mondo A-Go Go." Edd connects this to a postcard Eddy has from his brother. The Eds realize they have found his brother, who lives in a trailer shaped like a whale.
Soon, everyone else, except Jonny and Plank, arrives. Eddy knocks on the trailer door, and his brother appears. At first, Eddy's brother seems cool, just like the kids imagined. But then he starts treating Eddy very roughly for no reason. Everyone is shocked. When Edd tries to help, Eddy's brother uses Eddy to slam Edd to the ground. This makes everyone want to defend Eddy. Ed throws the trailer door at Eddy's brother, knocking him out.
Eddy feels bad about his past actions. He tearfully admits that he lied about his brother. He did it to try and make the other kids like him and accept him. The kids are touched by Eddy's honest confession and apology. They forgive the Eds and accept them as friends. Jonny and Plank then arrive. Without letting anyone explain, they quickly attack the Eds. In response, the other kids attack Jonny and Plank. Kevin then invites everyone over for jawbreakers. The children, except for Jonny and Plank, go home together. The Kankers drag Eddy's brother back into his trailer. The movie ends with Edd putting a label that says "The End" on the screen.
In a short scene after the credits, Jonny and Plank are angry that everyone turned against them. They promise to get revenge. They change their superhero names to "The Gourd" and "Timber the Dark Shard." But Plank tells Jonny there's no time left in the movie, and Jonny doesn't seem to realize he's in a film.
