In 1988, Eduardo López Banzo decided to start his own music group. He named it Al Ayre Español. This group is special because it focuses on playing Spanish baroque music. They perform works by composers like Literes, bringing old Spanish music back to life. Their hard work and amazing performances were recognized in 2004. They were awarded Spain's Premio Nacional de Música, which is a very important national music prize.
