Efficiency (statistics) facts for kids
Efficiency in statistics is about how well something works. It's a way to measure the quality of a tool called an "estimator." An estimator is like a special math tool that helps us guess or figure out information from data.
This idea of efficiency can apply to different parts of statistics. It can be about how well we design an experiment or how good a test is for checking an idea. Simply put, if something is more efficient, it means it can get the same good results using less information or fewer tries.
