Elijah Ware (born 14 April 1983) is a retired Australian Rules Football player. He played for the Port Adelaide Power in the AFL. He also played for the Central District Bulldogs in the SANFL.

Elijah Ware's Football Journey
Elijah Ware started his football career with the Central District team. He first played for them in 2003. He quickly became a key player.
Winning Championships
In 2004, Elijah was part of the Central District team that won a major championship. This is called a "premiership" in Australian Rules Football. He was recruited from the Pirie Lions team.
Joining the AFL
Elijah was picked by the Port Adelaide Power for the 2005 season. This was through a special draft for new players. He was the 7th player chosen in the Pre-Season Draft.
Facing Challenges
While playing for Central District in 2005, Elijah faced a tough challenge. He hurt his knee badly in a game. This injury meant he needed surgery. He could not play football for about a year.
AFL Debut and Retirement
Elijah made his first AFL appearance for Port Adelaide in 2006. He played against the West Coast Eagles. Port Adelaide won that game by 37 points. Elijah scored one goal and had 5 disposals. He played one more AFL game the next week.
After the 2006 season, Elijah left Port Adelaide. He continued to play for Central District in the SANFL. He helped them win another premiership in 2007. Before the 2009 SANFL season, Elijah decided to retire from football. He wanted to spend more time with his family.
