Elvira Navarro studied Philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2004, she won a special competition for young creators from the City Council of Madrid. She also received a scholarship to help her with her creative writing.
She has written several books, including La ciudad en invierno (The City in Winter) and La ciudad feliz (The Happy City). She also wrote the novels La trabajadora (The Working Woman) and Los últimos días de Adelaida García Morales (The Last Days of Adelaida García Morales).
