Endri Çekiçi (born on November 23, 1996) is a professional footballer from Albania. He plays as a midfielder and is also a member of the Albania national team.

Club Career Highlights
Starting Out in Albania
Endri Çekiçi began his football journey in 2008 with his local club, Pogradeci. He made his first professional appearance for the team on February 16, 2013, when he was just 16 years old. He came into the game as a substitute and helped his team win 1–0. A few months later, on May 4, 2013, he scored his very first professional goal. During the 2012–13 season, he played in six league games and scored one goal for Pogradeci.
In the summer of 2013, Endri moved to Kategoria Superiore team Teuta. He even played in a Europa League qualifying match for Teuta, helping them win 3–1 in the home game.
Moving to Dinamo Zagreb
In February 2014, Endri Çekiçi joined the famous Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb. The transfer cost €60,000. He first played for their youth team and then signed his first professional contract on his 18th birthday, November 23, 2014. This contract kept him at the club until June 2019. Endri said it was the best birthday gift ever!
He made his first official appearance for Dinamo Zagreb on February 11, 2015, in a cup match. Later that month, he played his first league game. On May 2, 2015, he helped Dinamo Zagreb win the 2014–15 Croatian First Football League title for the tenth time in a row. In his first season in Croatia, he played in four league games.
During the 2015–16 season, Endri scored his first goals for Dinamo Zagreb on September 22, 2015. He scored two goals in a big 7–1 victory in the 2015–16 Croatian Football Cup.
Loan to Lokomotiva Zagreb
In January 2016, Endri Çekiçi was loaned to Lokomotiva Zagreb for a year and a half. He played his first game for them on February 12. He scored his first league goal for Lokomotiva on March 13, in a game against his parent club, Dinamo Zagreb. He also made an assist in that match, which earned him the Fans' Player of the Week Award. He finished the second part of the 2015–16 season with three goals in eleven games.
Later Club Career
- Olimpija Ljubljana: In February 2019, Endri joined the Slovenian club Olimpija Ljubljana.
- MKE Ankaragücü: On October 5, 2020, he moved to the Turkish club Ankaragücü.
- Pendikspor: In August 2023, he signed with another Turkish club, Pendikspor.
International Career
Endri Çekiçi has represented Albania at various youth levels before playing for the senior national team.
Albania Under-17 Team
Endri first joined the Albania under-17 squad in August 2012 for a friendly tournament. He played in the qualifying rounds for the 2012 UEFA European Under-17 Championship in October 2011. He played in all three matches, helping Albania reach the next stage, known as the elite round.
In the elite round, he continued to play for Albania. He also played in the qualifying rounds for the 2013 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, appearing in all three games.
Albania Under-19 Team
Endri was called up to the under-19 team in November 2013 for the 2014 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifying round. He played in all three matches for the team.
He also captained the Albania under-19 team in all three matches of the 2015 European Championship qualifying round.
Albania Under-21 Team
Endri received his first call-up to the Albania under-21 squad in October 2014 for a friendly match. He came on as a substitute in that game.
In September 2015, he played in the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying matches. In one game against Israel, he scored a penalty kick in the 84th minute, helping his team get a 1–1 draw. He played in many of the remaining matches for this qualification campaign.
He continued to be part of the under-21 squad for the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification tournament.
Albania Senior Team
In September 2020, Endri Çekiçi was selected for the Albania senior team squad for the 2020–21 UEFA Nations League C matches. He made his debut for the senior team on October 14, 2020, in a match against Lithuania.
