Endville (sometimes called Enville) is a small place in Pontotoc County, Mississippi, in the United States. It's known as an unincorporated community. This means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, it's managed by the county.
A Stormy Day in 2011
On April 27, 2011, a powerful storm system known as the 2011 Super Outbreak brought many tornadoes to the southern United States. One of these tornadoes touched down in Endville.
This tornado was rated as an EF0. This is the lowest rating on the tornado scale. It means the tornado had wind speeds of about 70 miles per hour (113 km/h).
Even though it was a weaker tornado, it still caused some damage. It knocked down several trees and harmed a few houses. The path of destruction was about 75 yards (69 meters) wide. The tornado traveled for about 1.02 miles (1.64 km) across the area.
