Erős Pista (which means "Strong Steve" in English) is a popular chili sauce from Hungary. It is the second most popular chili sauce in the country. A company called Univer makes it.
Erős Pista is made from hot paprika that has been chopped into small pieces, mixed with salt. Because it only has these ingredients, it can last for about a year in a refrigerator. It also comes in a paste form.
There are other versions of this sauce too. Édes Anna (Sweet Anna) is a less spicy version. Haragos Pista (Furious Steve) is even spicier than the original!
