Eric Jerome Dickey (July 7, 1961 – January 3, 2021) was an American author. He wrote novels about contemporary African-American life. He also wrote crime novels about grifters, former convicts and assassins. He was a New York Times bestselling author. Dickey was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He went to the University of Memphis.
Dickey died of cancer in Los Angeles, California, on January 3, 2021. He was 59.
