After high school, Erica studied at Columbia College Chicago. She earned a degree in film directing in 1998. In 2005, she also completed a master's degree. This degree was in entertainment and media management.
Her Acting and Comedy Career
After finishing college, Erica Watson moved to New York City. There, she began performing comedy shows. In 2010, she created a special one-woman show. This show explored her experiences as a plus-size Black woman.
