One of Erin Corr's biggest projects was a famous painting. He spent ten years engraving a copper plate for Descent from the Cross. This painting was created by the famous artist Peter Paul Rubens. It was a huge and very detailed task.

In 1833, Erin Corr received a special honor. He was elected as an "Honorary Academician." This was at the National Academy of Design. It showed how much his artistic talent was respected.

Erin Corr had a sister who was also an artist. Her name was Isabelle Marie Françoise Geefs-Corr. She was often called Fanny Geefs-Corr. She was a talented Belgian painter. She lived from 1807 to 1883.
