Eungai (postcode 2441) is a small, friendly town located on the beautiful mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. It's actually made up of two smaller areas: Eungai Creek and Eungai Rail. Even though they are separate, they both share the same postcode.
Eungai is in a great spot, right in the middle of some bigger cities. It's about halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, which are major cities in Australia. It's also halfway between Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour, and between Kempsey and Macksville. This makes Eungai a central point in the Nambucca Valley area. In 2021, about 605 people lived in Eungai. You can find out more about the area at the Eungai website.
Getting Around Eungai
The Eungai Railway Station
The Eungai railway station is part of the North Coast railway line. This line connects Sydney to places like Grafton and Casino.
Even though Eungai has a train station, trains don't stop there all the time. Because it's a smaller town, trains like the XPT (which is a fast train) only stop if someone has booked a ticket to get on or off at Eungai. This helps the trains stay on schedule for larger towns and cities. The station has basic facilities for passengers.
