The Story of Its Post Office

A special part of Evan's Ranch was its post office. This post office helped people send and receive letters. It was open for a short time, from 1866 to 1868. The name "Evan's Ranch" actually came from the first person who ran this post office. Her name was Alvira Evans. She was the very first postmaster there.
