Everlyn Lee Marie Sampi is an Australian actress. She was born on October 6, 1988. Everlyn is from the Bardi Aboriginal people and also has Scottish family roots.
Her Big Role in Film
Everlyn Sampi became well-known for her role in the 2002 movie Rabbit-Proof Fence. In the film, she played a young girl named Molly Craig. The movie tells a true story about children from the "Stolen Generations." These were Aboriginal children who were taken from their families by the government in Australia.
The film is based on a book called Follow the Rabbit-Proof Fence. This book was written by Molly Craig's daughter, Doris Pilkington Garimara. Everlyn won an award for Best Actress for her amazing work in this movie. She received the award on November 6, 2002.
Other Acting Work
In 2007, Everlyn also appeared in an Australian TV show called The Circuit. She played a character named Leonie in this drama series.
