Feast Portland was a very popular annual food festival held in Portland, Oregon, USA. Many people thought it was the biggest "celebration of food and drink" in the entire Pacific Northwest region!
History of Feast Portland
How the Festival Started
The Feast Portland festival began in 2012. It was created by two people, Carrie Welch and Mike Thelin. They wanted to bring together amazing chefs and food lovers for a special event.
Big Events and Changes
In 2019, the main part of the festival was called the "Big Feast." It took place at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, a beautiful spot in Portland. Even some actors from the TV show Stumptown came to enjoy the food!
Sadly, in May 2020, the people who organized Feast Portland announced that the festival for that year could not happen. This was because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which made it unsafe for large groups to gather. Later, in 2022, the organizers shared that the festival would not be returning.
