After his time at San Lorenzo, Moner moved to Japan. He joined a team called All Nippon Airways (later known as Yokohama Flügels). He played there from 1988 to 1991. During this period, he played in 63 games and scored 3 goals. His strong play helped him become recognized.

A Short Stop in Spain

In 1991, Moner had the chance to play for Atlético Madrid in Spain. This was a big step, as Atlético Madrid is a very famous club. He played there for one season, gaining valuable experience.

Return to Japan and Argentina

Moner returned to Yokohama Flügels in Japan for another period, playing from 1993 to 1994. He continued to be a key player for them. After this, he went back to Argentina.
