How to Play
Setting Up
First, sort the cards into four piles: Answer cards, First Round Prize cards, Second Round Prize cards, and Grand Prize cards. Put the stand on Billy the Answer Head so it can stand up.
Starting a Round
One player becomes the contestant. The other players are the panel. The contestant picks an Answer card but keeps it secret from the panel. The contestant tells the panel how many words are in the secret answer. If there are any words in parentheses on the card, the contestant writes them on Billy the Answer Head before the timer starts.
Asking Questions
Turn the timer all the way to the left and start it. The panel members take turns asking 'yes' or 'no' questions. One panelist keeps asking questions until the contestant says 'no'. Then, the next panelist gets to ask questions. If a panelist says a word that is part of the secret answer, the timer stops. The contestant writes that word on Billy the Answer Head. Then, the timer starts again, and questions continue.
Winning Prizes
There are three rounds of questions.
- If the panel doesn't guess the secret by the end of the first round, the contestant picks a card from the First Round Prize deck.
- For the second round, the contestant reads the first clue from the Answer card. The timer starts again, and questions continue. If the secret isn't guessed, the contestant picks a card from the Second Round Prize deck.
- For the third round, the contestant reads the second clue. The timer starts again. If the secret still isn't guessed, it's time for the Charade Round!
Charade Round
In this round, the contestant acts out the Charade Clue from the Answer card. The timer starts. The panel tries to guess the secret based on the charade. If the panel still can't guess the secret by the end of this round, the contestant wins! They draw a card from the Grand Prize deck. After this, a new player becomes the contestant.
Secret Slime Action!
Each Answer card has a secret slime action. This is something the panel might do without knowing it! If a panelist does the secret slime action, the contestant shouts "Slime Action!" The timer stops. The panelist who did the action has to do a funny consequence listed on the card. Then, the timer starts again, and the game continues.
Making Your Own Answers
The game comes with two blank, double-sided Answer cards. This means you can create up to four of your own secret answers! You can also make up your own clues and slime actions with funny consequences.
