Finesse Mitchell, whose real name is Alfred Langston Mitchell, is an American actor, comedian, and author. He was born on June 12, 1972.
From 2003 to 2006, Finesse was a cast member on the popular TV show Saturday Night Live. This show is famous for its funny sketch comedy skits. He has also appeared on many other television shows. Some of these include Showtime at the Apollo, BET's ComicView, and Comedy Central Presents. Kids might know him from the Disney Channel show A.N.T. Farm.

Finesse Mitchell was born in Atlanta, a big city in Georgia, USA. He went to the University of Miami. While there, he was part of the university's football team. He also joined a fraternity called Kappa Alpha Psi.
Finesse Mitchell's Career
Finesse Mitchell started his television career in 1999. His first appearance was on BET's Comic View. This show helped him become popular with fans very quickly.
After Comic View, Finesse moved to both Los Angeles and New York City. These cities are famous for entertainment. He appeared on late-night talk shows like The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn and Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
Time on Saturday Night Live
In 2003, Finesse Mitchell joined Saturday Night Live (SNL). He started as a "featured player." This means he was a new member learning the ropes. After two seasons, in 2005, he became a full cast member. This was a big step in his comedy career.
In 2006, SNL announced that Finesse, along with two other comedians, would be leaving the show. This decision was made due to budget reasons.

Personal Life
Finesse Mitchell has been married twice. On September 13, 2008, he married Jessica Santos in Atlanta. They divorced in May 2011.
He married again in September 2013. His second wife is Adris DeBarge. She is the daughter of the singer El DeBarge. Their first daughter was born in March 2015. They also have a younger daughter named Elle Kate.
