Fair Play in Football

In football tournaments, "fair play" points can be used to decide which team ranks higher if other scores are tied. Teams get points taken away for yellow and red cards.

• A yellow card means minus 1 point.
• Getting a second yellow card (which leads to a red card) means minus 3 points.
• A direct red card (without a previous yellow) means minus 4 points.
• If a player gets a yellow card and then a direct red card in the same game, it's minus 5 points.
