Frank Owen (1893–1968) was an American writer. He wrote many books and stories. He is best known for his exciting fantasy stories, especially those with an "oriental" (meaning Asian-inspired) theme. Many of these appeared in a popular magazine called Weird Tales.
Frank Owen also wrote ten novels in the 1930s. For these books, he used a different name, a pseudonym, which was Roswell Williams. Sometimes people mistakenly think Roswell Williams was his real name. He also worked with his wife, Ethel Owen, to create several story collections for children.
