Géraldine Le Meur (born in May 1972) is a talented French innovator and business executive. This means she is great at coming up with new ideas and leading companies. She went to Skema Business School and finished her studies in 1995.
In 2004, Géraldine and her former husband, Loïc Le Meur, started a company called LeWeb. It was first known as LesBlog. LeWeb grew into a very popular series of conferences held in Paris. These events brought together digital innovators and entrepreneurs from all over the world.

Starting New Companies
In 1997, Géraldine helped start a company called RapidSite France. She was its CEO, which means Chief Executive Officer, the top boss. This company was later sold to France Telecom.
She then went on to manage an early blogging project called Ublog. Blogging is like writing an online diary or journal. Ublog later joined with another company called Six Apart in 2004. During this time, from 2003 to 2007, Géraldine was the marketing director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for Six Apart.
What is LeWeb?
LeWeb became a very important event for people interested in technology and new ideas. Géraldine was the CEO of LeWeb before it was bought by a company called Reed Exhibitions in 2012.
However, in April 2015, Géraldine and Loïc Le Meur bought LeWeb back! They did this through their company in Paris, Business Space. Reed Exhibitions felt that there were too many similar events happening, so they sold LeWeb back to its original founders. Géraldine is currently the CEO of Business Space.
Her Latest Work
In November 2020, Géraldine Le Meur joined a group called FrenchFounders network as a partner. She now leads an initiative called LeFonds. This project helps French-speaking entrepreneurs, or people who start their own businesses, to succeed.
