Gwendolyn Veronica Green (born June 9, 1959) is an American politician. She works as a state representative in Pennsylvania. She represents the 190th District. She has held this position since 2023 and also in 2020.
Early Life and Education
G. Roni Green was born on June 9, 1959. She went to Murrell Dobbins Vocational High School. She finished high school in 1977. Later, she studied at George Meany Labor College.
Political Career
In February 2020, G. Roni Green won a special election. This election was to fill a seat in the Pennsylvania State House. She became the representative for the 190th District.
After this, she ran in the main election in 2020. However, she did not win that election. Another Democrat, Amen Brown, won the seat instead.
In 2022, the district lines for representatives changed. This is called redistricting. Amen Brown's district changed. So, G. Roni Green ran for the 190th District seat again. This time, she won the election. She has been serving as the representative for the 190th District since 2023.
