Gabriella Wilde (born Gabriella Zanna Vanessa Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe on 8 April 1989) is an English actress and model. She is known for her roles in movies and TV shows.

Early Life and Family
Gabriella Wilde was born in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. Her father, John Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, is a businessman. Her mother, Vanessa Hubbard, is a former model.
Wilde comes from a large family and has a younger sister and five half-siblings. Some of her siblings, like Isabella Calthorpe and Olivia Llewellyn, are also actresses.
She went to several schools, including Windlesham House School and Heathfield St Mary's School. She later studied art at the City and Guilds of London Art School but left to focus on her acting career.
Career Journey
Starting as a Model
Wilde began her career in modeling. When she was 14, she was discovered by the famous model Naomi Campbell. She joined an agency and appeared in ads for big companies like Lacoste, Burberry, and Topshop. She was also featured in popular magazines like Vogue and Cosmopolitan.
In 2015, Wilde became a spokesmodel for the beauty brand Estée Lauder, appearing in their advertising campaigns.
Acting in Movies and TV
In 2009, Wilde started her acting career in the comedy movie St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold. The next year, she appeared in a 2010 episode of the popular BBC show Doctor Who called "The Vampires of Venice".
Her first big movie role was in The Three Musketeers in 2011. She played Constance Bonacieux, a lady-in-waiting to the queen.
In 2013, she played Sue Snell in the horror movie Carrie, a new version of a classic story. The film also starred Chloë Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore. The following year, she had the lead role of Jade Butterfield in the romance movie Endless Love.
From 2016 to 2019, Wilde played Caroline Penvenen in the BBC historical drama Poldark. More recently, she had a role in the superhero film Wonder Woman 1984 (2020).
Personal Life
Wilde married musician Alan Pownall on 13 September 2014. They have three sons together.
