Gabrielle Johna Farrell, born on December 4, 1997, is a talented footballer. She was born in America but plays for Jamaica's national women's team. Gabrielle plays as a forward, which means she's usually at the front of the team, trying to score goals. She also plays for a club team called ŽFK Spartak Subotica in Serbia.

Early Football Journey

Gabrielle Farrell started playing soccer when she was just four years old. Her first team was the Hulmeville Soccer Club. Later, she joined the FC Bucks Freedom club team. With this team, she helped win the 2013 Elite Club National League U-15 Northern Conference championship.

High School Achievements

Gabrielle went to Neshaminy High School. Her high school soccer team, the Redskins, won the state championship in 2013. In 2015, she was recognized for her great skills and earned "all-state" honors. This means she was one of the best players in the entire state. Besides soccer, Gabrielle also played basketball and competed in track and field for her school.

College Soccer Career

From 2016 to 2019, Gabrielle played college soccer for the Liberty Lady Flames. She was a very successful player during her time there.

  • 2016: As a freshman, she was named to the Big South All-Tournament team. She also made the All-Freshman team and was named the Big South Rookie of the Year.
  • 2016 & 2017: She was chosen for the Big South first team in 2016 and the second team in 2017.
  • 2018 & 2019: When her team moved to a new conference, the Atlantic Sun, she was named to the second team in 2018 and the first team in 2019.

Overall, Gabrielle played in 77 games for the Liberty Lady Flames. She scored 24 goals and helped her teammates score 14 times.

Professional Football

In October 2020, Gabrielle Farrell took her football career to the next level. She signed with ŽFK Spartak Subotica, a professional club in the Serbian Women's Super League. This is a top league for women's football in Serbia.

Playing for Her Country

In 2020, Gabrielle was called to play for the Jamaica women's national football team for the first time. This was for a big tournament called the 2020 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Championship.

She made her first international appearance on February 4, 2020. She came into the game as a substitute in the 71st minute. This match was against the Saint Kitts and Nevis team. Jamaica won the game with a score of 7–0.
