Ganhada facts for kids
The Ganhada (sometimes spelled G̱anhada) is a special name for the Raven "clan" or family group. This name comes from the language of the Tsimshian people, who live in British Columbia, Canada, and parts of southeast Alaska.
Think of a clan like a very big family that shares a common ancestor or symbol. The Ganhada clan is similar to the G̱anada (Raven/Frog) Tribe of the Nisga'a nation in British Columbia. It's also like the Frog clan among the Gitxsan nation in B.C. Sometimes, the Gitxsan people use another name, Laxsee'le, to talk about their Frog clan.
