Garland, Ohio facts for kids
Garland is a small place in Miami County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It's called an "unincorporated community." This means it's not a city or town with its own local government. Instead, it's part of a larger area, like Miami County, and the county government helps manage things there.
A Look Back: Garland's History
Garland had a post office a long time ago. It opened in 1891. People living there could send and receive letters right in their community. The post office stayed open for about 14 years, closing in 1905. A year later, in 1906, about 50 people lived in Garland.
