Gary Beals (born October 25, 1982) is a Canadian singer. He is best known for being the runner-up in the first season of the TV show Canadian Idol. Gary lives in Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia. In 2003, a local newspaper named him "Best Halifamous Person." The city of Halifax celebrated "Gary Beals Day" on November 22, 2003, to honor him.

After finishing second on Canadian Idol to Ryan Malcolm, Gary Beals released his first CD. This album, called Gary Beals, came out in August 2004.
