Geneviève started her career by directing short films. One of her notable early works was The Cut (also known as La Coupe). This short film was recognized for its quality and was nominated for a Best Live Action Short Drama in 2015. She also directed a documentary film called Welcome to F.L., showing her skill in telling true stories.

Award-Winning Feature Films

In 2019, Geneviève released her first full-length movie, A Colony (also known as Une colonie). This film was very well-received and earned her a nomination for Best Director at the 7th Canadian Screen Awards. This was a big achievement for a debut feature film.
