Georganne Rochelle Moline, born on March 6, 1990, is an American athlete. She is known for her skills in track and field, especially in hurdle races. Georganne is very good at the 400-meter hurdles and also runs the 400-meter sprint. A big moment in her career was earning a spot in the 2012 Summer Olympics for the 400-meter hurdles.

Georganne Moline's Early Running Days
Georganne Moline went to Thunderbird High School in Phoenix, Arizona. During her junior and senior years, she was a state champion. She won titles in both the 100-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles.
College Track Star
After high school, Georganne went to the University of Arizona. She had an injury called a stress fracture during her first year. Because of this, she took a break from competing outdoors that season.
At the University of Arizona, Georganne was a key runner. She was often the last runner in the 4x400 meter relay team. Her team set new school records for both indoor and outdoor races in 2010. In 2012, she won the 400-meter hurdles title at the Pac-12 Championships. She was winning every 400-meter hurdles race that season. However, she had a fall in the first round of the NCAA championship.
The Olympic Dream Comes True
In 2012, Georganne competed in the U.S. Olympic trials. These trials decide which athletes will go to the Olympics. She finished second in the 400-meter hurdles race. Her time was 54.33 seconds. This amazing performance earned her a spot on the Olympic team. Georganne was only 22 years old when she made the Olympic team. She had just finished her junior year of college.
Racing in London
At the 2012 London Olympics, Georganne showed her talent. She won her first race, called a preliminary heat, in the 400-meter hurdles. Her time was 54.31 seconds, which was her fastest time ever at that point.
She then placed second in her semifinal race. This meant she automatically earned a spot in the Olympic final. In the final race of the 400-meter hurdles, Georganne finished fifth. She set another personal best time of 53.92 seconds.
