Georganne Rochelle Moline, born on March 6, 1990, is an American athlete. She is best known for running in races called hurdles, especially the 400-meter hurdles. She also competes in the 400-meter sprint. Georganne even earned a spot to compete in the 2012 Summer Olympics!

Early Life and College Journey
Georganne Moline grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. She went to Thunderbird High School. During her junior and senior years there, she became the 4A-1 State Champion. She won titles in both the 100-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles.
University of Arizona Athletics
After high school, Georganne attended the University of Arizona. In her first year, she had to take a break from outdoor track due to a stress fracture. This is called "redshirting" in college sports.
In 2010, she was a key runner for the 4x400 relay team. This team set new school records for both indoor and outdoor races. In 2012, during her college outdoor season, Georganne won the 400-meter hurdles title. This was at the Pac-12 Conference Championships. She was undefeated in every 400-meter hurdles race that season. However, she had a fall during the preliminary round of the NCAA championship.
Road to the Olympics
In 2012, Georganne competed in the U.S. Olympic trials. These trials decide which athletes will represent the United States at the Olympics.
Qualifying for the Olympic Team
At the trials, Georganne placed second in the 400-meter hurdles. Her time was 54.33 seconds. This amazing performance earned her a spot on the Olympic team! She was only 22 years old and had just finished her junior year of college.
Competing at the Olympics
Georganne Moline traveled to London for the 2012 Summer Olympics. She was ready to compete on the world stage.
Her Performance in London
In her first race, the 400-meter hurdles preliminary heat, Georganne won! She set a new personal best time of 54.31 seconds. Later, in the semifinal race, she placed second. This automatically qualified her for the Olympic final.
In the Olympic final for the 400-meter hurdles, Georganne finished fifth. She ran even faster, setting another personal best time of 53.92 seconds.
