The Georgia Rural Telephone Museum (often called GRTM) is a super cool place in Leslie, Georgia, United States. It's a museum all about telephones and other cool stuff related to them. Imagine a huge collection of old phones!

This museum is inside an old cotton warehouse that was built way back in the 1910s. People say it's one of the biggest phone museums in the whole world. The museum itself says its collection of telephones is bigger than any other.

How It Started

A person named Tommy C. Smith started the museum in 1995. He wanted to share the history of telephones with everyone.

By 2007, the museum had about 2,000 different items on display. These items show how telephones have changed over time. Some of the oldest things there are from the 1880s!
