Georgianna K. Offutt (born August 21, 1868 – died 1949) was an important American woman. She was a foot doctor, a leader in women's clubs, and a suffragist. A suffragist is someone who worked hard to get women the right to vote. She was also the first vice-president of the Alameda County League of Colored Women Voters.

Georgianna Offutt worked as a foot doctor, also called a chiropodist, for 25 years in Los Angeles. She was the president of a local group called the Sojourner Truth Club. With other leaders like Emma Lou Sayers and Dr. Vada J. Somerville, she helped create a program to teach Black voters about elections. She spoke out against unfair treatment in the medical field. She even wrote an article in the California Eagle newspaper. It was called "Negro Woman in the Medical World." In it, she shared stories about the challenges Black women faced.

Early Life and Education

Georgianna Offutt was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to Lincoln University in Jefferson City. After college, she worked as a teacher.

In 1890, she married Roddum Kenner. They had a son named Byron. After Roddum died in 1893, Georgianna moved to California. She then studied at the College of Chiropody in San Francisco, California. In 1922, she earned a special degree to become a foot doctor. In 1897, she married Boone Offutt. They had a daughter named Ruby in 1900. Boone passed away in 1935.
