Gerardo Fernández Albor (born September 7, 1917 – died July 12, 2018) was an important Spanish doctor and politician. He is best known for being the first elected president of Galicia. Galicia is a special region in Spain, like a state, with its own government.
Fernández Albor was a member of a political group called the People's Alliance. This group later became known as the People's Party. He passed away in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, when he was 100 years old.
