Gigi Radics's Music Journey
Starting with Megasztár (2012)
In February 2012, Gigi Radics became one of the final contestants on Megasztár. This was a very popular Hungarian music show, similar to Idol.
Gigi showed off her amazing singing skills each week. She performed many songs and always did very well. In the end, Gigi Radics won the entire competition. This was a big step in her music career.
Competing in A Dal (2013–Present)
A Dal is a TV show where Hungary chooses its song for the Eurovision Song Contest. Gigi Radics has competed in A Dal several times.
A Dal 2013
On January 10, 2013, Gigi was chosen as one of the thirty finalists for A Dal 2013. Her song was called "Úgy fáj". She performed in the first heat of the competition.
Gigi received the most points from the judges in her heat. This meant she went straight to the semi-finals. In the semi-final, she again scored high with the judges. She made it to the final round without needing public votes.
In the final on March 2, 2013, Gigi performed her song "Úgy fáj". She got the second-highest points from the judges. This allowed her to go to the public vote round. She finished in third place overall.
A Dal 2014
Gigi Radics returned to A Dal in 2014 with a new song. This time, her song was an English dance-pop track called "Catch Me". She performed in the third heat on February 8, 2014.
She did not get enough points from the judges this time. However, the public voted for her, and she moved on to the semi-finals. In the semi-final, she again didn't get enough jury points. The public vote also didn't send her to the finals, so she was eliminated.
A Dal 2017
Gigi Radics competed in A Dal again in 2017. Her song for this year was "See it Through". She performed well and made it all the way to the final round of the competition.
